Waiting For Godot
We are in Stratford for 3 plays.
Just saw Waiting for Godot with Paul Gross and Tom McCamus.
Adrienne and I both think of Godot as the greatest modern play. This is all of us. This is our drama. Our society floating without purpose.
Beckett! Beckett! We have seen it in everything from a garage production in Fort Lauderdale to great actors on great stages.
Well, this was on the main stage - a big space! Gross and McCamus – and the rest of the cast – filled that space with the emotion and the craziness of the play.
Loved it!
Not often that you see a masterpiece done by masters, as if it were easy. Which it isn’t!
A fabulous moment of theatre.

This is the best review the great JRS could give—a braggy diary entry of cultural tourism with his Right Honourable better half?
“Waiting for Godot” is inspired illustration manifested in the why and why meaning has merit
regardless.
